Jonny woke up 5-9 and decided that was someone else's identity. He sent 1.02, his 2027 first, his recovered second, and Chase Brown to Ward Hogs for Jahmyr Gibbs, arguably the best dynasty RB alive. Then he kept going: bought Jasson's 1.04 mid-round for Kyle Monangai plus pick 1.09, and took Jordyn Tyson, the most talented WR in the class if the hamstrings hold. Then he bought Rajib's 1.10 with 2.02 and 3.02 and grabbed Omar Cooper, the Jets' most impressive rookie of the spring. Freiermuth and Otton in rounds 4-5 patch the TE2 spot behind Kraft. The result is the number one total-value roster in LOTF. The bill: no 2027 first or third, and Josh Allen turns 31 next spring.

THE HAUL

1.04
Jordyn Tyson WR NO • 3,522 SF acquired pick

Tyson was bubble-wrapped all spring with recurring hamstrings. If he is right, this is the steal of round 1. New Orleans target vacuum helps.

1.10
Omar Cooper WR NYJ • 2,306 SF acquired pick

Cooper drew 'most impressive rookie of the spring' from the Jets beat. Consensus rank was stale-low. Sharp buy.

4.02
Pat Freiermuth TE PIT • 814 SF

Freiermuth is boring veteran glue for a contender. Fine.

5.02
Cade Otton TE TB • 859 SF

Otton makes the TE room three deep. This roster has no holes left, only ages.

Best pick

Jordyn Tyson at 1.04. Top-five talent with a medical discount, and Jonny could afford the risk premium.

Riskiest move

The Gibbs trade itself. Two firsts plus a starting RB for one player is how you win a title or how you fund someone else's.

3-YEAR OUTLOOK

Aggressive contender, young enough to sustain
2026

Title-or-bust window opens now. Allen 30, Gibbs 24, London 24, Rice 26, Burden 22. The starting lineup is the best in the league on paper and the fifth-year hail mary worked: this team is deep AND young.

2027

Still elite. The catch: no first, no third in the strongest QB class in years. If Allen shows age or Rodgers-era backups are needed, there is no cheap pipeline. Trade chips are on the roster, not the pick sheet.

2028

Gibbs 26, Tyson 23, Cooper 24, Burden 24. The core survives, but 2028 depends entirely on whether 2026-27 banked a banner. The 2028 first is still home, and it might need to be spent the same way Ward Hogs just spent theirs.

STASH WATCH

Jordyn Tyson • Taxi. Yes, a first-round pick on the taxi squad. Handle with care until the hamstrings prove out, then start him.

Omar Cooper • Taxi. Garrett Wilson's running mate by October is the whisper.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt • Taxi. Washington backfield behind an aging committee. Cheap Gibbs insurance.
